Rotoroa Trip

Hello lovely bloggers last week on Tuesday we went to Rotoroa Island and we had a lot of fun. We would like to share some of the things we did their by using photos. I have created this with Jahleena I hope you like it!

Quick write

This is my quick write. For those who don't know what a quick write is well it is when you write a little story in a period of time like 8 minutes. I had 8 minutes a story or a poem so this is what I came up with. I hope you like my poem I really focused on trying to make it make sense and have lots of really descriptive words. I have tried very hard to do this and I think I did pretty good considering I only had 8 minutes. I really enjoyed doing this task for literacy.

Bling blop diddly ding

There goes the bells ring ring ring

The fire is lit and many are smiling the science fair will be blow away

Bottles are mixed tubes are sent in and out

Many are mischievous inventors ready to win their prize

Goggles are put on for protection

Their minds are working like a clock Tick Tock

So many people excited to see what the creation will be

Will it be a bell or blasting shoes

Will it be some jell or fiddly shoes

Well who knows what it will be for the investors only knows the scheme

Atheltics

Yesterday we had a lot of fun our school had Athletics It was a lot fun we got spilt up into different groups and we got to do different activities it was a lot of fun. One of my tasks today was to write about athletics day this is my writing about athletics day and this is about what happened and what I liked. I hope by reading this you will feel as if you were there on athletics day. We also took lots of photos so here are some of them.  

Athletics Day

The people are all around in different colours purple, red, yellow, orange, green and blue. All of them were chanting loud and proud the yellow  chanted on and on saying “ Yellow yellow we’re the best better better than the rest.” so many faces eager to have fun and support each other. Families all cheering in the crowd’s yelling out to theirs sons and daughters to give it their best . The teams all beam as they make their way to their  activities. The point keepers stand proud with clipboards in their hands. Different activities have different teachers standing at the activities both supervising and telling them the rules to the activities and the points they will get for their team. You can smell the fresh leaves and all the stinky sweat the aroma is not to nice to inhale. The tug of war game is serious you can just see their faces sweating but not ready to give up. Each team pulls the rope hoping their team will win. The beautiful soft sand is all into place one by one they jump onto the sand slipping or gripping onto the sand.

The teachers all applaud the progress weather small kids or big kids have made. Weather successful or not the teachers still clap telling them to carry on telling them they can get a better score if they try again both harder and more eager.
