Information report week8

We are learning to write an information report about a topic related to space. j

By Friday 5 June you need to have written and edited your information report on a topic related to space so that it is ready to be published.

Scientists believe that an asteroid crashed into neptune and that is why it rolls forward.
More detail:
Since the asteroid  crashed into neptune it cause Neptune to roll forward instead of going round in a circle.

Did you ever wonder about Neptune? And why it rolls forward well now is the time to learn about the fantastic Neptune .Hope you enjoy this report!

Size
Neptune is not a very big planet.Just because Neptune is   a gas giant like Saturn and Jupiter  it is a really small gas giant it’s diameter is only 49,500 km so it’s really small considering it’s a gas giant.




Why neptune rolls forward
A lot of scientists say that Neptune rolls forward because an asteroid crashed into Neptune and from then on neptune was caused to roll forward instead of around the sun and now Neptune can not help itself but roll forward to orbit the Sun.

Other interesting facts about Neptune
Neptunes clouds take eighteen hours to rotate because Neptune is not a solid body.Neptune has fourteen moons that orbit it.Neptune is the most dense,Neptune is bigger than Earth.

Neptunes rings
Guess what Neptunes rings are most likely made out of  of ice mixed with dust and grain and . Neptunes rings are not as bright as Saturn’s rings. Neptune has four rings and one of Neptune’s moon is called triton Neptunes rings are named


Neptunes names in other cultures
Did you know Neptune was named after the roman god of the sea.Neptune's name in welsh is Neifion and Neptune’s name in portuguese is Netuno. Neptune’s name in hindi is varun,In italian Neptune’s name is Nenzia .In maori Neptune's name is Tangaroa.
What Neptune is like
Neptune is a very windy planet The wind speeds on Neptune so as we can see here Neptune is a very cold planet. Neptunes winds are so cold that they can get up to 1,500 miles per hour.


What did people think Neptune was
Before when nobody knew about Neptune Galileo thought that it was a discounted Star so as we can see hare nobody really knew that Neptune was a planet. and know Neptune is a Planet.

Conclusion

    I see that you have been doing the same as us Mccahon class learning about space and one thing that I have to tell you is that the plan I can't see it well so if can do so make it that we can see it?
